One very cold but lovely morning in the beautiful Port Isaac we set up for Lucy and Phil’s wedding at The Slipway Hotel, Lucy and Phil had decided to brave the cold and get married outside so they could see the sea as they said their vows. We started off by playing a few songs to entertain the guests, (all from our set list which Lucy and Phil had requested we played), we then played “Dogs Days” by Florence and The Machine for Lucy as she walked down the aisle (a song we had learn’t especially for her) We carried on by playing a few romantic songs as the couple signed the register and then as the couple left as Man and Wife we again played “Dog Days” for them.As the guests and the married couple went inside for their canopies, We packed up our PA and moved up the hill to the The Edge, situated on the top of the hill over looking the sea.
Lucy & Phil had also hired us to play for their early evening entertainment. We started the first set off with a more easy going relaxed feel of songs such as “Lego House” and “Come away with me” while guests were eating their pasties! For our second set we played some more upbeat songs that everyone seemed to enjoy to have a dance too!
A beautiful wedding and such a lovely couple! We wish Lucy, Phil and their lovely little daughter Adelaide all the best for the future and hope you have a lovely honey moon.
